Enhanced knowledge and understanding of such issues will provide a sounder basis for future investment decisions by Australian producers, and by R&D funders and providers.
(PSLP) AusAid, Public Sector Linkages Program (2012); Meeting food security goals with good policy; Professor Christopher Findlay in collaboration with IPSARD (Vietnam), University of the Philippines, (Philippines), Kasetsart University (Thailand), Academia Sinica (Taiwan), CAPAS (Indonesia), China Agricultural University (China)
The research activity will enhance the capability of policy makers in the APEC Region to offer advice on food security goals that is based on evidence and analysis and thereby promote the adoption of policy measures for food security goals which are consistent with international market conditions and achieve those goals at least cost.
(PSLP) AusAid, Public Sector Linkages Program (2010 - 2012); Structural reform, services and logistics – building policy making capacity in APEC; Professor Christopher Findlay in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade (Indonesia) and the University of International Business and Economics (China).
The research activities focus particularly on infrastructure and logistics within the services sector. The intention is to both, add to the growth of participating economies and improve the integration between them by more efficient use of resources and better policy making practices.
