Teaching Assistantships

The School offers a number of teaching assistantships to full-time graduate students enrolled in the Master of Economics (Research) and the Ph.D. in Economics programs. These are currently valued at approximately AUD $20,000 per year, and require the Teaching Assistant to take tutorial classes in undergraduate courses, to grade assignments and examinations, and to assist the lecturer-in-charge with course administration. Candidates are eligible to apply for a teaching assistantship at the end of their first year.
