The suite of Economics coursework programs is ideal for people who wish to strengthen their understanding of the application of economic theories in order to advance in their careers as professional economists in the fields of economics, finance and banking, and international trade.
Students can choose the standard Economics program pathway, or specialise in International Economics. Specialisation in International Economics will require compulsory courses in international finance, international trade and statistics or econometrics.
Each of the Economics postgraduate coursework programs is designed to articulate to the next level: from the Graduate Certificate to the Graduate Diploma to the Master of Applied Economics. Alternatively, a student may elect to graduate with a program of a lesser duration than that in which they are enrolled. For instance, a student enrolled in Graduate Diploma who has completed a sufficient number of units may graduate with a Graduate Certificate.
