How do i apply for conference support?

An application for conference funding should be submitted to the School of Economics Research Committee with a supporting statement from your Principal Supervisor and the following information;

• Title and location of the conference
• Importance of the conference and relevance to their research
• Budgeted total cost of trip.

The award of the grant is conditional upon application to the Postgraduate Student Association for funding. On your return, you must present an ‘Open Forum' seminar in the School.

Funding

For full-time postgraduate research students, the School will provide funding for national and international conference papers to the value of $500.

Restrictions

• You must be a full time postgraduate research student in the School of Economics.
